The people who run the motel especially the son was very kind we had some really good conversations and was very concerned about my husband having a heart catheter done at the hospital in Mathews. Thank you so much.and he gave us discounted rates. The room was nice and was clean slept well Thanks again
This Econo Lodge Is a hidden gem. It's located in a nice part of town.Well, lit property and safety has never been a concern.My 4 times staying here over the last 2 years.I'm over the road trucker and I always stay here.It's affordable and clean. With awesome front desk staff
The room was clean. The air worked well, and the employee at the front desk was super nice. The only bad thing it was a pet friendly hotel but it didn't have a place for my dog to go to the restroom.

My experience at this hotel was great. The service was top notch. It was clean, the people friendly, I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel!! It is very clean. I feel safe. I have stayed here several times. They have big parking lot for 18 wheeler truck for more then one truck. Everyone is always so friendly. It makes you feel like they appreciate you choosing to stay with them.We were very pleased with the room. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable!!!
Very quick check in. Very accommodating. My room didn't have a chair, I requested one and it was arrived with in an hour. Very clean. Soda dispenser was broken but the office was selling iced cold cans for $1. Plenty of places to eat and fee convenience stores nearby for late night snacks and gas. 2 buffet restaurants nearby also! ;) The free breakfast could be improved but not over all to bad. You can't get cheaper than free. Bojangles is real close by if the free breakfast didn't cut it for you. For a 2 star motel this is a fair choice.
Worst hotel ever! We pay $200 for one night as one adult and to kids on 4 and 15 and two dogs. When we get over to the room is there only one bed, mold, stains, holes and a very bad bathroom. When we arrived you could easily see the two dogs, but in the morning when we went for a walk with them, the employees started screaming at us because we apparently didn’t tell them about the dogs and had to pay an extra $70 for each dog
Upon my arrival at the hotel, the front desk exhibited a high level of professionalism and kindness. Throughout my stay, I was impressed by the excellent Wi-Fi and cleanliness. I look forward to returning in the future.
